With a full catering staff on hand, the club is a popular choice for parties and other events. Air Force clubs have a long history dating back to the creation of the army in 1835. Today's clubs still serve as an anchor for the military community, and serve an important role in promoting Air Force values and maintaining military tradition. Not only does the club benefit the military as a whole, but individual members benefit in many ways.
Inspired by the World War II tradition of displaying a blue star in the window for each family member in service of their country, the Blue Star Benefit Program rebates all interest on purchases and fees charged during deployment in a military campaign. Click the Blue Star for more information.

Charleston Club members and Air Force Club members worldwide now have an opportunity to get cash back or qualify for gift certificates from dozens of major retailers just by using their Club card to charge a purchase. The “Military Free Cash” rewards program offers card holders one point for every $1 they spend on all purchases off base and two points for every $1 when charging an item at any on-base Services activity or the Base Exchange, excluding the BX service station. After accumulating 2,500 points, card holders may redeem these points for $25 cash or a gift certificate from one of the sponsors of the program. Card holders can accumulate up to 60,000 points and have up to two years from the date they were acquired to cash them in before the points expire. The program is free, renews automatically every year, but card holders are not automatically enrolled. Those wishing to take part in the “Military Free Cash” program must call Chase Bank, which is the Air Force Clubs’ financial managers for the Club card, and ask to be enrolled. The toll-free number to call and enroll or ask questions about the program is 1-800-759-0294. This number is the same toll-free number printed on the back of each member’s Club card. More details are also available from the Charleston Club office at 963-3914. |
