Liberty Program
The LIBERTY program offers a wide range of high-adventure trips, outdoor recreation, leisure activities, sports/tournaments, social events, and a recreation facility for Active Duty military. Some exciting trips and events include skydiving, marksmanship quals, river tubing, snow skiing, paintball, table tourneys, barracks break-ins, BBQ’s and MORE!
River Tubing
23 June. Relax and unwind with Liberty as we float down the refreshing waters of the Edisto River for our tubing trip! Cost is ONLY $5 and includes transportation, parking, tube and cooler with ice.
Disneyworld Star Wars Weekend
June 1-3. May the force be with you on this 2-night trip to celebrate Star Wars Weekend at Disneyworld! Sign up at The Liberty Lounge MWR Staff Desk from 1-21 May!
Tandem Skydiving Trip
26 May. Dare to jump out of a perfectly good airplane, free falling at 120 mph? Then take the plunge with Liberty! Trips will be offered on the first Saturday of every month from April through September! Muster at ITT/OAC-WS at 0700; van will depart at 0715.
3-on-3 Co-Ed Bball Tourney
8 June. Games will begin at 1730. Pick up Registration Forms in the Liberty Lounge. Muster in the Multi-Purpose Room in the Bowman Center. Games will begin at 1730. Join us afterwards for FREE pizza and movies at our Barracks Break-In!
Xtreme Adventure Trip in Charlotte, NC
15-16 June 2012. A 1-night trip Charlotte, NC for EXTREME adventure! Get ALL-DAY UNLIMITED access to whitewater rafting, zip-lining, mountain biking and MORE!!! Sign up at ITT - WS from 14 May - 11 June.
Atlanta, GA Scavenger Hunt
19-20 May. Explore Atlanta with a Liberty-sponsored Scavenger Hunt and get to know all that the city has to offer! Hotel and transportation included in cost. All single sailors and Airmen E1-E6 welcomed to participate.
Barracks Break-In
18 May. Watch-out because Liberty is breaking into your Barracks! Join us for a night full of movies on the big screen, pizza, soda, popcorn, and even more fun! You can find us in the courtyard between Trident and Seawolf on the NNPTC Campus! 2100-cerfew! All single sailors and Airmen E1-E6 welcomed to participate.
Marksmanship Trip
19 May. Join Liberty as we head to the local gun shop/firing range for your rifle and/or pistol qualifications. The cost is $75 for one qualification and $140 for both rifle and pistol. Registration fee includes transportation, weapon qualification, ammunition and range sheets.
2nd Annual May Flowers Photo Contest
1-31 May 2012: April showers bring May flowers and we want to see the transition through YOUR lens! Throughout the month of May, take your best original flower photo and upload it to Liberty’s Facebook wall for a chance to win great prizes in multiple categories!
Red Light Special
Every Friday during YOUR lunch hours! Stop in The Liberty Lounge during your lunch break EVERY Friday for Liberty's Red Light Special! Liberty unlocks the Prize machine to help curb that mid-day sweet tooth – at no cost to you! Eligible patrons include Single Sailor E1-E6, NNPTC Students
Beat Lab Focus Group
The Beat Lab is a sound isolation enclosure located in the Bowman Liberty Center complete with all your musical needs. Learn to play the drums, jam-out on guitar with your buddies or even record your own music. The ideas are endless and that is why we want to hear from you!
