- . These beginner's classes are free and will teach measuring, mat cutting and mounting. You will learn how to assemble and close a wooden frame. Class consists of one hour of instruction on two consecutive Thursdays – one hour each Thursday.
Student pays for their materials for their own frame. Please bring your picture to frame– no larger than 16 x 20 to the first class. No canvases or needlepoint please. Space is limited, so register early for these classes!

Find your inner crafter! Join the Arts and Crafts staff from 5:30 to 6:30p for an hour of creativity. Each month will offer a different exciting and challenging project. All classes are free and sign up is encouraged to insure that we have enough materials. Visit the Arts and Crafts Center, bldg. 637 (across from the picnic grounds). Natasha Lawrence, Calligrapher to the Historic Charleston Foundation, Freelance Writer for several publications (Atlanta Constitution, Savanna h Magazine to name a few) and an art instructor for the Charleston Museum will be holding 2 hour classes at the Arts and Crafts Center. All materials are included in the cost of the class and registration and prepayment is required at the Arts and Crafts Center.
Telling your life story….life writing workshop
