Opportunities and discounts for Military Families

628 FSS loves to support our military families by providing them with special events and services. Our local community does, too! I want to highlight a few special opportunities and discounts specifically for military families in the Charleston area. 

If you've been to any of our base events, you've probably seen Charlie the Riverdog there. You can always count on him for a hug, high-five, or laugh. The Charleston Riverdogs want us to remind you that they have an entire military appreciation platform, which includes military appreciation nights, $5 military tickets, and a Veteran VIP program. In conjunction with Boeing, they are also bringing the Military Family of the Game to the ballpark this year. They will give one family of four a VIP experience at each RiverDogs game, including 4 tickets to the Segra club (with food and drink included). To be considered, you must fill out the nomination form (either nominating your own family or someone else's family).

Did your children love the STEM Hangar at the Air Expo this year? Trident Tech is giving military families first dibs to sign their kids up for STEM cmaps this summer. You can find the details here, and if you are a military with Joint Base Charleston, you should absolutely take advantage of this. Camps aren't full quite yet, and your child can learn amazing things about drones and cybersecurity, coding, 3D printing, and more!

Visit the SC Aquarium in downtown Charleston! Active duty military, veterans, and retirees receive $25 off of any level of regular membership. Due to restrictions on photocopying IDs, military memberships must be purchased at the gate on your first visit with no need for advance reservations.
