An Armed Forces Day Celebration
Boots & Brews
We've bringing out the stage, and after the opening ceremony with the Honor Guard, National Anthem, and leadership remarks, Zero to Never will take the stage with all the songs you know and love.
You won't run out of things to do (or eat!) at Boots & Brews! With bouncy houses, the Little White Photo Bus, a mechanical bull, games, appearances from Charlie the Riverdog and Andy the Armadillo, FREE activities at the ORC, and lots of food choices from Vendors and Private Orgs, you'll be busy all afternoon.
Our vendors are bringing 20 different craft brews to Joint Base Charleston.
Purchase advance tickets online through the Charleston Club.
Early bird pricing is $20 for Charleston Club Members and $22 for Non-Club Members. Tickets will be $30 at the door. Paid entrance ticket fee includes a commemorative beer tasting cup, beer coozy, and (6) beer tasting tickets. Each ticket is a 4oz pour of your craft brew choice.
Outdoor Rec Center Open House
If you're going to venture away from the picnic grounds on Armed Forces Day, make sure it's to visit the Outdoor Recreation Center! They are running an open house and want you to stop by and see what's going on.
Visitors will have access to a free rock wall climb (with instruction). Stop by the rental showcase, where staff will show you how to use (or rent!) equipment such as kayaks, paddleboards, surf boards, and campers. Your kiddos will keep busy at the chalk zone. Test your balance on the slacklines. And if you aren't already familiar with what Charleston has to offer, there will be an information station highlighting all of the nearby Charleston attractions and local hotspots!
