JB Charleston Pool Season Begins

The Air Base swimming pool and the New Wave Aquatic Center on the Weapons Station will open to the JB Charleston community Saturday for recreational swimming for the Memorial Day, three-day weekend from 12 to 6 p.m. After this weekend, normal pool hours of operation for recreational swimming at the Air Base are Tuesday through Sunday, 12-6 p.m. Adult lap swimming is Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Hours for the pool at the Weapons Station are Saturdays & Sundays only through June 20, 12-6 p.m. Starting June 22, the hours will be 12-6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Lap swimming at the New Wave Aquatic Center is available Tuesday through Friday,5-7:30 a.m., 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. For Air Base pool information, call 843.963.1732; call 843.794.4092 for New Wave Aquatic Center information.
